What we do at Sulayr Recycling PET Trays

We transform complex PET waste into certified, reusable recycled raw material. We specialise in recycling multi-layer food trays, with a traceable process from start to finish.

1 Reception and sorting

We receive PET waste from selective collection and sort it according to type, colour and composition, separating unsuitable materials to guarantee the purity of the final product.

2 Recycling process

We apply our own grinding, washing and delamination process called Tray Vita Tech, adapted to multilayer materials, which allows us to recover high-quality polymer.

3 Certified production

We convert waste into certified rPET flakes or granules with a purity of over 99.8%, suitable for food and non-food applications.

4 Reintroduction to the market

The recycled material is reincorporated into the value chain, especially in new food trays, thus closing the circle of the real circular economy.

Tray Vita Tech, our patented technology that allows us to make a recycled product recyclable again, thus creating an infinite cycle.
From post-consumer household food trays, we produce rPET flakes and granules, as well as blends with PE or EVOH, meeting the highest technical standards and certified for food and non-food applications.
